Add Comments to Your Post

Comment gives you and your team a good way of exchanging feedback before the posts are out in the wild. There are 2 types of comments:

  • Public comments: can be read by anyone who has access to the contents. When you add a public comment, the creator is notified via an email message. Any response to your comment is added as a public comment to the content. All of your communication is captured in the Comment tab.

  • Internal comments: are only visible to team members who are not Approvers (Learn more about Approver's permissions here). Internal comments have a yellow background.

Add comment to a post

  1. Navigate to the content you want to comment

  2. Click the ellipsis icon on the top right corner to expand the action menu

  3. Click Edit Content

  4. In the Edit Content modal, you’ll find the Comment tab on the right side

  5. Click the Comment field to enter a public comment, or to enter an internal comment, click the Lock icon.

  6. Click the Emoji icon to add emojis and spice up your speech

  7. Click the Attachment icon to add images, videos or documents

  8. Press Enter to post your comment

Reply to a comment

  1. In the Comment tab, navigate to the comment you want to reply to

  2. Click Reply

  3. Enter your reply

    • Click the Emoji icon to add emojis and spice up your speech

    • Click the Attachment icon to add images, videos or documents

  4. Press Enter to post your comment

    • Alternately, click Cancel to clear it and start again

Reply to an internal comment will also be added as internal reply

Delete your comment

  1. In the Comment tab, navigate to the comment you want to delete

  2. Click the Delete icon on the right corner of your comment

  3. Click Delete on the confirmation modal

  4. The comment then will be deleted and cannot be restored
